WIC is open for business

WIC is a supplemental food program for women who are pregnant or breastfeeding, infants and children. WIC also provides health screening, nutrition and health education, breastfeeding promotion and support, help getting other services and monthly benefits for nutritious foods.

WIC services are open for you and your family

WIC has been identified as an essential service and staff are providing services by phone to reduce the risk of exposure to COVID-19.

Given recent employment changes and layoffs, many families are seeking WIC services for the first time – but even families that have participated in WIC in the past can re-enroll anytime.

People seeking WIC services do not need to visit a WIC clinic. WIC services are available by phone.  To verify eligibility, WIC staff have multiple remote options to show proof of income and residency such as text and email.

Contact your WIC clinic to find out how they’re offering services or call 206-263-9300 to find out more information about the WIC program.

  • You live in Washington state, and;
  • You have a medical or nutrition need, and;
