We know that here in King County, we are striving to make King County government one with the communities that we serve. Issues surrounding Public Health, specifically the very real disparities in those conditions that affect life outcomes, are finally front and center.
Below is a video that features three Black leaders in King County government. All three have dedicated their careers and their lives to working to impact the life outcomes of those who live in King County, especially those who are most in need.
Thank you Anita, Derrick, Daphne and Sheila and to all our other Black colleagues who are working towards transformation. Black History Month is one month out of the year but the history, community and transformational work is year round.
