We are excited to announce that community partners will be taking over operation of the Tukwila, Federal Way and Auburn COVID-19 testing sites in June, following a brief closure during the transition process.

In order to better align with demand and transition to long-term testing solutions, Public Health – Seattle & King County will end its operations of our Tukwila, Federal Way and Auburn COVID-19 testing sites. The last day of King County operations for the Federal Way and Tukwila testing sites will be Friday, May 27, and the last day for the Auburn site will be Wednesday, June 1.

In the past few weeks, we have heard reports of longer wait times to get COVID-19 tests and delays in receiving test results in some instances. The average time from testing to results being available has typically been one to three days for most labs, but recently has been five to six days for tests done in some settings.
