45 young King County residents joined the second annual Public Health Camp from August 5-9, 2024 at our offices in downtown Seattle. The camp opens doors for students to explore career opportunities, make connections, and gain experience and skills in public health.
The King County Board of Health expanded in 2023 to include more members of the community it serves.
Applications to join the Board are welcome from King County residents who share a commitment to public health principles and addressing racism as a public health crisis. The Board is currently considering applications for membership for one vacant position to join the Board in 2025.
