Public Health – Seattle & King County was notified of a measles case in an adult who traveled on a connecting flight through Seattle-Tacoma International Airport (SEA) on November 11, 2025, and again on November 17, 2025. The individual is an out-of-state traveler and their vaccination status is unknown. If you are not immune to measles or don’t know your vaccination status, and were at the airport on November 11th or November 17th, please visit our measles webpage for specific information about potential areas of exposure within the airport.
Public Health – Seattle & King County is following up on the confirmation of an individual associated with Aegis Living retirement community in Issaquah, who was diagnosed with active tuberculosis (TB). Public Health is working with Aegis Living Issaquah to define the extent of any potential TB exposures and supporting the facility as they conduct evaluations for those exposed and provide guidance and information to staff and residents.

The individual was on the same flight as a person with a confirmed case of measles that Public Health previously announced on October, 17, 2025. We believe this latest case was exposed to measles on this flight. This latest case was at Toyota of Renton, Valley Medical Center, YangGuoFu Malatang Restaurant and Disney on Ice at ShoWare Center during their infectious period.
