We have identified a second case of measles in Washington state. This case is linked to a previous case of measles in King County from late February. The individual was not in any public spaces while infectious.
We have identified a new case of measles in an infant in King County. People who were at certain locations in King County may have been exposed. People who are vaccinated are very well protected. See full blog for a list of exposure locations:
Public Health – Seattle & King County is investigating a confirmed measles case in an adult with recent international travel. The individual was at multiple locations in Bellevue, Seattle, and Woodinville while infectious. Anyone at certain locations during the time span when the individual was there may have been exposed to measles.
Public Health – Seattle & King County is informing the community of a confirmed measles case in a child with possible exposures at Franciscan Urgent Care – West Seattle.
Public Health – Seattle & King County was notified of a confirmed measles case in an adult with possible exposures in Seattle-Tacoma International Airport (SEA) on May 10 and May 11.
