Navigators bring the personal touch to the COVID-19 response 

Meet the community navigators: a group of trusted community leaders, organizers and health workers collaborating with Public Health — Seattle & King County to help us stay true to our equity goals. 

This group was started at the beginning of the pandemic to help Public Health focus on some of the local communities that weren’t receiving the critical health information they needed. It comprises members from dozens of racial, ethnic and language groups across King County who became crucial allies in sharing information directly with community during the height of the pandemic when information was rapidly changing.
